Much more than just a calcium supplement, Bone Basics is a multi-nutrient formula to support bone health. A product highlight is the hydroxyapatite complex (MCHC) an extract of bovine bone derived from New Zealand bred, free range livestock, where there is no routine use of antibiotics of rBGH. Magnesium is present in the highly absorbable bisglycinate form. The supplement also provides boron, copper, phosphorus, and zinc plus the vitamins D and K2, making it an all-round supplement for bone health with minerals and important co-factors. Vitamin D is required for the absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus. Calcium, zinc, and vitamins D and K2 contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Calcium and Magnesium contribute to the normal function of the bones and teeth.
